Mountain honey from Spain
High mountain honey is the type of honey that is collected from the pollen of wildflowers located in high mountain areas (heights above 1000m above sea level).
The date of collection of this type of honey is in spring, when this type of wild mountain flowers bloom.
Mountain honey is a dark amber color with some reddish hue. Intense floral aroma with fruity touch. Sweet taste in general, can have some salty or acid touch by the presence of heather.
Honey of crystallization very slow.
Like the rest of the honey, La Carrasqueta mountain honey is raw honey of 100% natural origin. Unadulterated or pasteurized, which retains all the properties of honey.

Store in a cool, dry place. Due to its purity this honey tends to crystallize, this natural process can be avoided by heating the water bath.
