Orange blossom honey from Spain
The orange blossom honey, or orange, lemon and mandarin orange blossom honey, is a honey produced mostly by the nectar of the flowers of citrus trees, such as the aforementioned orange, lemon, mandarin and clementine. Therefore, it is a very typical honey of the Mediterranean area where such trees abound, and especially, of the Valencian Community, as is our case.
Its collection date is usually in spring, which is when citrus fruits are in bloom and the bees come to rid their nectar of orange blossoms. Although there are certain areas where the trees give a second flowering in early autumn that make it possible to collect them again.
Light amber when it is in a liquid state, it tends to crystallize and take on a whitish tone with lower temperatures. In this second case, we can heat it to the water bath to enjoy it in a liquid state. But without exposing it to very high temperatures that can damage the properties of honey.
The orange blossom honey is one of the softest honeys that we can find in the market, it offers us a delicious floral aroma and a sweet flavor (with a slight acid touch) that make it one of the most appreciated honey by our customers. It is a very aromatic honey, which obviously reminds us of the smell of orange blossom itself.

Conservation tips
Store in a cool, dry place. Due to its purity this honey tends to crystallize, this natural process can be avoided by heating the water bath.
